The Great Malle Arctic Rally is our most ambitious Rally adventure to date, we set our sights on the mighty Nordkapp, located at the very-very Northern tip of the mainland Arctic. The Arctic Rally adventure is a 2500 mile / 4000 km motorcycle challenge, across the greatest landscapes in Scandinavia. From Copenhagen, Denmark, through Sweden, up into Norway and across the majestic Norwegian Fjords, past the Arctic Circle and right up to the Rally finish line at the top of Europe, at Nordkapp / The North Cape / Davvenjárga (in Sami).

Before each stage of The Arctic Rally, teams join the Riders Briefing and are presented with the 5 rally checkpoints to guide the teams along the Arctic Rally route each day. With our dedicated marshals supporting and timing each stage, along with the Malle Rally crew. The Rally teams are then followed by our rally engineers and the support team at all times.

All riders stay in our luxurious Rally Bell tents, with the riders briefing and the dinner in the rally camp each night. On every night we’ll be in a different region of Scandinavia, with the local menu being designed to celebrate each unique terrain and terroir of the location. Don’t worry it’s not all reindeer and schnapps! Our wild chefs cook up a storm in the rally camp each evening and provide all food throughout the Arctic Rally experience.

Each rider will receive their own ‘Malle Arctic Rally Duffel’ and Malle kit pre-adventure, with their rally number on it, so that all luggage is waiting in the Rally camp for the riders each night.

Riders arrive in Copenhagen on the Friday evening for the first Riders Briefing, the Pre-Rally Dinner and the Pre-Party. For those riding to the start line, you will be able to park your motorcycles in the secure Parc-Fermé. For those riders who will be using our delivery service to deliver their motorcycle to the start line in Copenhagen from the UK or France, motorcycles will be waiting for you in the locked compound of the Parc-Fermé in Copenhagen, ready for the start-line departure on the Saturday morning.

Over the last 10 years we’ve developed and refined the ‘Greatest (and longest) Motorcycle Rally experiences across 9 countries. Our aim is to enable each rider to focus purely on the rally experience together with their team-mates and new friends, explore the very best of Scandinavia by motorcycle, surrounded by a host of daring adventurers, who all share the same thirst for adventure and a passion for motorcycles.

Our rally engineers, medics, photographers and support team follow the rally and support you at all times whenever you need. If you choose, we will deliver your motorcycle to the start line in Copenhagen and back from the Northern tip of Norway to Copenhagen / Lille / UK.

We provide accommodation in truly unique settings (viking forts / mountains-tops / forests / fjords), great local food from our chefs and expert rally mechanics, to ensure you make it there and back again. As always, we’ll do everything and anything to get you and your motorcycle across that finish line with as much fun and adventure as possible!

By working together with our rally partners we deliver a cross continental motorcycle experience like no other. Each evening the secret checkpoints are revealed to the rally teams. As you check-in at each checkpoint your times are logged and compared against the perfect time of the days stage, for every minute early / late you gain/lose a point, to ensure all national speed restrictions are adhered to. At the end of each days rally stage, there’s the rally dinner and some suitably inappropriate entertainment, from waterfall swimming, Saunas, adventure talks, Schnapps tastings, camp fires and more.

Like every Malle Rally adventure the Arctic Rally is focused on completing and it’s definitely not about competing. But with that said, the team with the nearest perfect rally time, will take The Great Malle Arctic Rally award.

Motorcycle Delivery

Motorcycles can be collected from the UK and Lille/France by our rally trucks and we will transport your motorcycle and riding kit to the start line in Copenhagen and deliver it back to the UK/Lille/Copenhagen from Nordkapp after the Rally. With each bike safely cradled up, highly insured and with a carnet to cross to and from Europe with ease. So you can simply fly in and out and enjoy the pure Arctic Rally experience.

If you select the motorcycle transport option from the UK, all UK bikes must be delivered there and back again, we can't just deliver one way.

Motorcycles will need to be dropped off with our delivery team between the 23rd-29th of July, prior to the Rally departure and collected within 2 days after the return delivery to the UK/Lille/Copenhagen after the event.

Motorcycle Rental

If you're flying in from around the globe and require a rental motorcycle for this adventure, our trusted rental partners have motorcycles available for you to choose from. In the UK, Road Trip have 50 motorcycles available (BMW, Triumph, Ducati, Yamaha and Royal Enfield). In Copenhagen, Yamaha Copenhagen can provide rental motorcycles for the rally.

We'll arrange delivery of rental motorcycles to the start line in Copenhagen and return them to the rental partner after the event. If you're renting from the UK, we will deliver it to the start line. If you're renting in Copenhagen, you can collect your rental motorcycle on Friday the 6th of August before the Pre-Rally dinner.

BUILDING A RALLY TEAM + ‘LONEWOLF’ RIDERS

There’s a reason motorcycle gangs are so popular, riding with a group/team of good friends is one of the best things you can ever do. Side by side, riding the entire length of Scandinavia, together.

Some riders enter the rally as a team, but 80% enter as a solo ‘LoneWolf’ rider and we help build the teams, based on similar machinery, interests, experience etc. Many great friendships have started in the Malle rally teams and long may that continue!

With that said, The Great Malle Arctic Rally is a rally event where teams of 2+ riders will complete each stage starting and finishing as a team. The clock will start when all riders have crossed the start line and stops once the entire team has reached the checkpoint, ensuring no one’s left behind.

The Rally Route & Stages

The exact Rally route is all kept secret and changes each year, the next Rally stage Route Card is given to you in the Riders Briefing each night, let the adventure unfold ahead of you and be present in the moment.

STAGE 0 – PRE-RALLY RIDERS REGISTRATION

Riders check-in at the Rally Parc-Fermé at the Classic Car House in Copenhagen, Denmark between 4pm-6pm. Arriving in time for a good Pre-Rally party, dinner and the first riders briefing.

STAGE 1 – COPENHAGEN – TO SWEDEN

STAGE 2 – SWEDEN TO SOUTHERN NORWAY

Stage 10 - POST RALLY

On Sunday the 15th of August – After a hearty Sami breakfast and maybe a last sauna and a cold dip, riders will take a relaxed 100km ride south to our rally trucks at Alta Airport for 12pm, across the majestic and beautifully desolate Arctic landscape.

Then board a flight back home on Sunday afternoon (flights are not included in the rally package and need to be booked by the rider.) For those selecting our delivery service, motorcycles will be arriving back in the UK on Monday the 23rd of August and to our optional European locations before then.
