Scotland has always demanded something of the people who ride through it. The weather turns without warning, the roads climb before they ever think to flatten out, and the land itself seems to test whether you deserve to pass. It was in this spirit that the first ever Malle Rally500 began, a two day adventure into the wilds of Scotland, from the gates of Drummond Castle in Perthshire, north through glens that have swallowed armies and outlasted kings, into wilderness that has barely noticed the passing centuries, until the road finally gave way at Torridon, in the far reaches of the Highlands.
Our friend and photographer Darroch William was there to capture the magic of the Malle Rally500.
